Auckland University Graduate in Bachelor of Technology (Hon) and Victoria University of Wellington MBA Graduate.  More recently completed the Graduate Diploma in New Zealand Immigration Advice (GDNZIA) in 2016 with all A+ marks and won all available student awards, including the Top Student Award.

Commenced work with Immigration New Zealand in late 1999. Initially held the positions of Customer Service Officer, Business Liaison Officer followed by Business Immigration Specialist in the Business Migration Branch in Wellington for a period of three years then got promoted to the position of Immigration Manager in INZ Shanghai. After that worked as an Immigration Manager in Bangkok, Shanghai and Manila INZ offices and completed various assignments in Beijing, Dubai, Saudi Arabia etc.

After being appointed to the position of Branch Manager in 2008 was in charge of various onshore projects in Christchurch, Auckland, Palmerston North etc. and became the Branch Manager of INZ Manukau in January 2010. Then held the position of Assistant Area Manager of the Auckland Central Area Office, and Market Manager in the New Zealand High Commission in Apia, Samoa.

During his time with Immigration NZ (16 years), he was also engaged with New Zealand Embassies, Consulates, and High Commissions in Asia and the Pacific, as well as most of INZ’s New Zealand offices, including the national office in Wellington, and various other stakeholders.

Now working as an immigration adviser for the past 10 years, he would like to continue sharing his experience and knowledge with clients and the industry at large. Positive outcomes for his client are his priority.

Aleks has two young sons who keep him busy. He is an avid sports fan, loves travelling, and various outdoor activities.
